Neurologist, futurist, and NYC 15+ marathon streaker.
Born in the Bronx, Dr. Dennis has been a physician since 1995 upon graduating from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He did an internship and neurology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He then completed a fellowship in Stroke and Neurocritical care at Columbia. He is dual board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
He has been a practicing neurologist since 2000. He worked at Bergen Neurology Consultants until 2011, and during that time founded the Stroke Centers at Englewood Hospital an Hackensack Meridian Health. In 2011 he founded Bon Secours Neurology and served as Chief of Neurology at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center until 2023. He served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia from 2000 – 2018.
He is a digital health enthusiast and believes strongly in the use of advanced technology to prevent disease and extend healthy lifespan. He co-founded the virtual healthcare company RPM Healthcare where he serves as Chief Medical Officer.
From 2023 – 2025 Dr. Dennis worked in the virtual environment championing the use of teleneurology and telestroke throughout the United States to help the underserved.
In 2025 he founded the outpatient neurology clinic at NCH Healthcare .
He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at New York Medical College.
